Located on the north side of the Foothills bridge this area offers a lovely area for swimming and a short hike, extending to the west along the Nechako River and continuing up west of the bridge’s river bank.

This beautiful nature park along the Nechako River features a wide path down to a peaceful area along the river.  Stop at one of the benches on the way down to enjoy the view or bring a picnic for the bottom.  There are many opportunities to reflect and enjoy nature and the river flowing by.  The gate is open during normal park hours.  The parking lot is not maintained in the winter and the gate is open to the public as weather allows typically from mid April to October 31 annually.
