Trail History of Coffee Pot Mt in Northern BC
Comment 0

Mike Nash was the first in recent times to explore Coffeepot Mountain. Pre-dating the current logging roads close to and on the mountain, Mike used to bushwhack in across wetlands and through virgin forests to gain the top and explore it. He later learned, from what he had observed on the top, that it had been used as a survey post before the widespread use of aerial photogrammetry. Mike recalls discussing this in his book Exploring Prince George.

Dave King mentions that the original trail was created by a guide outfitter (if you know who, let us know), but the current trail route was made by Dave.
