Trail History of Humbug Ridge near Walker Creek Forest Service Road
Comment 0

The Humbug Ridge Trail was created by long-time locals from the Walker Creek Forest Service Road area. The original group consisted of Hugh and Kathy Perkins, as well as Daniel Norton, along with a brother and an uncle of Daniel’s, and dates back to a time when Daniel was in his teenage years.

The Humbug trail had been used for years before the Perkins shared it with the Caledonia Ramblers, which was when the public learned about this trail, and it became more widely used by the public.
